The Eerie Brown Package
*Inspired by Magic The Gathering and a writing topic I saw on Vocal years ago.*
Josh had always liked Gathering Of The Sorcerers, a card game where you can either buy a deck of cards or build a deck, and you can play in groups of 4 or more people. When he found a rare deck online, he knew he had to buy it; but when he received the package, what he got wasn't what he anticipated.
He had waited days and days and days for the package. By the ninth day, he was starting to get annoyed; until he heard a knock at his door. When he opened his door, he saw the package on the ground, picked it up, and brought it inside. As he brought the package inside, he heard a thumping coming from it. He put the package up to his ear; and the thumping got louder. He pondered on whether or not he should open the package. When he decided to open it, he found a beating human heart with a dagger sticking out of it.

The metal bleachers of the football field were so cold, it made Regan shiver as it creeped in through her jeans. It was Friday night, and the stadium lights cast long shadows of the goalposts across the turf. She was sitting on the highest row, her fingers digging into the straps of her backpack. Inside the bag was a heavy glass jar of paint. The weight was the only thing that was bringing Regan any kind of comfort.

The Cave Part 11
Darkness, and the countless points of light, as if the entire void beyond was filled with the fire of a million stars. I felt as if I was staring into the eternity of a night sky beyond those wooden doors, the place beyond the actual reality, while I stood behind a curtain of scenery, the mountain and sky a mere pretense. And in that void beyond of unfathomable space, there hung suspended a mighty shard of crystal floating in place, with hundreds of a far smaller chunks orbiting around it in balanced but intersecting circles, no two in the same path. These caught the light from the center, and sparkled with inner fire each.
