Cheers to the way you always have treated your sons, and cheers to the way, you always made our sons, seem second fiddle to Cathy's daughter, Cindy. But this isn't about the children is it, it is about yourselves, and your great love. To The Groom
For those who don't know me, I'm Carley, and this toast is for the groom, Matt, or should I call him the wedding specialist, God knows he's been at the Department of Marriage License Bureau enough times. According to the lady who works there, fourteen times to be exact. This toast is also for Nicole, someone who finally got him to the alter, my hat's off to you, or should I say, my garter belt. Pandora’s Burden
“My brother warned me to not accept gifts from the one who commissioned you,” said Epimetheus to the woman clad in silvery raiments standing at the entrance to the temple. Her silver tiara and the silver rings on her fingers and toes glinted in the firelight cast by torches set on either side of the doorway. Lingering in the shadows, beyond the reach of the flames as she was, he could not tell what she held in her hands. At first what appeared to be a box was perhaps a funerary urn, or maybe merely an apple.

Black Shuck
Every man fears the fire, and yet every man carries fire into his home. Every woman learns to keep the flames tame, so that she might cook and warm her babes, and every woman knows the scorch of a sudden flare and the burn of a thrown ember. Every child learns to draw near, but not to touch. Even dogs know how close they can go, how far to stay away. Only the cat sleeps without fear of the flames.
