How do you horror fans feel about this?

I recently heard about a possible Crossed horror movie, that is based on one of the most disturbing comic books I have ever read. I'm not sure how to feel about this announcement, because I'm not sure how the director is going to pull this off. The Crossed comic follows the story of one of the worst invasions ever written in horror. People become infected with some kind of deadly virus, that turns them into total monsters, who delight in hurting others in the worst ways imaginable, while also inflicting pain on themselves in the process.

They are actual demons who walk the Earth, going after anyone who stands in their way. The chances of survival are also pretty low in this comic franchise, and very few people have been given the opportunity to have a happy ending. The comic follows multiple storylines of all kinds of characters, including villains that will leave you feeling sick on another level.

Due to the extremely graphic content of this comic, the director will have to remove a lot of heavy content to avoid a possible NC - 17 rating. A Crossed movie would be insane for sure, but there is a reason why I'm having doubts about this possible film.

We pretty much already got a horror film with a very similar premise to the Crossed horror concept.

A horror movie called The Sadness, was able to create their own invasion of madness, and it was one of the most insane films I've ever sat through.

The Sadness is probably the most BRUTAL horror film I have seen. This movie follows the story of a young couple who is caught in an invasion of a deadly virus, that makes people do the most depraved things to their victims, and they cry over their actions, but they cannot stop themselves from causing harm.

This movie is so dreadful, and the terror is never-ending. I can't believe the director got away with so many scenes in this film, it was perfectly directed, and I don't think I'm ever going to watch this movie ever again.

Not because it was an awful movie...I just don't think I could handle ever watching this movie again.

What happens to all of the victims in this movie is gut wrenching, and I lost my mind when I saw the ending to this movie. I shouldn't have been surprised, but after all the awful fates of so many victims, I was hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel.

I did recently hear that the movie had wrapped filming last year, and the story was apparently written by the guy who wrote the Crossed comic. And the crazy part that I did not expect to learn about, is that the same guy who directed The Sadness, DIRECTED the Crossed movie. This means that we could be getting another masterpiece that is going to leave me disgusted once again.

From the rumors that I have heard, this movie is going to be based on the very first comic written by Ennis, who wrote the script for the movie. If the original writer who wrote the comic is involved in the project, along with the dude who directed The Sadness, I think we are in get hands with this movie. I'm going to predict another brutal horror film I will never watch again, but I'm not going to hesitate to watch this movie in theaters.

And I wanted to clarify, no, this is not an April Fool's joke. I completely forgot that today was April 1st.

How do you feel about this horror movie announcement?
