Catholic school

Church-

First thing

in the morning

Had to kneel down and pray

Go to class

Get hit by a ruler

By my teacher

who was a nun

Gotten written up

for talking in class

Got humiliated

in front of class.

If I got answer wrong

Couldn’t play basketball

Since we

wore skirts

Wouldn’t do homework

What’s the point!

Became the

glass clown

Made faces and sounds

Behind her back

My parents didn’t care

I was the forth of five kids

Stricked rules

and abuse

heartbreak

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
