Dealing with the new neighbor

An annoying new neighbour just recently moved in.

He has a cocksure personality and features an idiotic grin.

This spring, my watch dog was his focus of attention.

The vile fetor he leaves makes it hard to consider his redemption.

I’m not sure how to deal with this skunk cruising my private space.

I do know that he leaves an oily smell that is hard to erase.

He struts around, passing judgement, without being accountable.

He treats men,women, children and strangers as expendable.

I’d prefer to ignore him and give him wide berth,

but he’s terrorizing the neighborhood, and for what it's worth,

he does not give normal warnings, no stomping, hissing, and handstands.

His pungent lingering essence causes irritation and warrants reprimands.

His irreprehensible actions are impossible to ignore.

His stench is one that more than half the population abhor.

Nature is smell-blind. Lady Justice does not challenge his abrogation.

But his unpleasant stance and offensive distractions are terribly brazen.

~

When he sprays his essence it inspires me to use profanity.

His swagger embodies Ecclesiastes words, ' all is vanity.'

Many see the choices are black or white

but much goes on between day and night.

~

In the past, together communities have banded.

To tip the scales they do not act single handed.

We plan to trap, and release him elsewhere, to avoid his dread.

Perhaps there is a new skunk sanctuary where he can safely make his bed.
