Lay down— limbs outstretched

like uncharted territories.

I trace my fingers on your skin—

soft, gentle gestures

exploring your landscapes.

Your shoulders, your neck, your arms,

every hill and hollow.

You sigh, tremble like molten magma

ready to erupt under my eager weight.

I travel slowly across the provinces of heat,

learning the atlas of your skin,

each moan commands me—

stay, press, deepen, burn.

My hand upon your sacred thigh,

tender lips worshiping

in a lustful embrace.

My tongue maps fault lines you cannot hide,

and when you break—

I feel the earth split open beneath me.

I came across a set of prompts by two poets on Instagram—Madelyn (@thoughtsofaloner_) and Maria (@heartinpenumbra).

I almost scrolled past.

I’ll be honest—most Instagram prompts don’t move me. I’ve seen so many prompts before—most of them feel flat, predictable, like they’re asking for something that has already been said.

But these felt different. There was something alive in them.

Something that made me stop, and read again. They felt more like a challenge. They talked to a slightly feral part of me that said: write this.
