You make a mere human feel divine

How love once made me feel

The feeling when the waves meet the shore,

Unexplained, unfamiliar, yet so sweet,

Washes over me,

Filling me from head to toe,

Reaching the very core.

I feel I can't belong, but I only belong to you.

When things have no meaning, you will seek me. I fight for you.

Without love, who am I, and what do I live for?

I gamble with my soul to know you.

You captivate me, consume me; there's nothing sweeter than this spell.

The eyes that allure me, no knocking, you burst my heart open.

You see me. I can't hide. Your gaze is revealing.

Your touch is nirvana, it can't be imitated.

You make a mere human feel divine.
