Under Three Moons - Prologue
Prologue - Moonsflower It began in the moonsglow beneath a Lacrimosal Tree, its branches gleaming with luna sap. Nestled in the cluster of dark crimson roots was a single moonsflower in rare form, for its petals only bloomed during Convergence, in which The Three Sister Moons danced in the cosmos, their magick radiating through the ivory thistle and copperlilies of Sioga Valley.

'The Testaments' Analysis: Intro, Chapters 1-3
I know my Handmaid's Tale analysis isn't finished, but I thought I would jump right into The Testaments since the Hulu adaptation is well underway. Obviously, the show and novel have different continuities. The Testaments is understood to take place 15 years after The Handmaid's Tale's (novel) ending. It does not feature the same protagonist, but rather tells the story from three different viewpoints.

Just Following Orders
The tribunal hall is utterly silent, except for the sniffling and suppressed sobs. The uniformed soldiers keeping the peace are statuesque in their quiet survey of the defendants. Still, whether it was a trick of the light or just fanciful imagination, tear tracks carved down the stony faces as the horrific images played on the large plasma screen.
