My Top 20 Songs in 2020
1.Shardz - Army Rising You know those songs you play to stir yourself up when training in the gym? For me, when I’m about to go evangelising with friends, this is one of those songs. By default this is also for me a benchmark in the faith space of the grime genre.

To the Beat: December 2020. Top Story - December 2020.
Cheers to a new edition of To the Beat and Happy New Year! As we wrap up the month of December on Beat, we're saying goodbye to 2020 and toasting with another playlist, creatively curated based on the stories you shared. We laughed about really bad song lyrics, related over your "year in music" stories, and crowned Charli XCX as the "QuaranQueen." This month's playlist is sure to bring back memories from the months that felt like years as you get ready to ring in 2021.

Where's the Tunes?
This year has been one for the history books for me, as well as most people throughout the world. Being reminded about a global pandemic on every television network, social media platform, and in every store front, can definitely take a toll on a person. My anxiety has dramatically increased in the last year, and am always working on new ways to cope with it. I have recently started meditating, working out, eating healthier, and going to sleep earlier. These habits have positively impacted how I live my life during a pandemic.

20 Glee Songs That Accurately Describe 2020. Top Story - December 2020.
People have always had mixed feelings about Glee and the music from the show, but for me, Glee was one of the simple pleasures that got me through 2020. Working and doing school from home gave me a lot more free time and Glee and its music was there to motivate me, distract me, and give me something to smile about when almost nothing else did.

The Awesome Playlist That Got Me Through 2020
I am done flogging how the year 2020 came and threw us off balance. I'll rather focus on one of the awesome things that made it worthwhile; music! Music provided an escape from the harsh realities around us. Like many of us, I spent more time at home than anywhere else. This had its fallouts including getting creative. In the spirit of creativity, I forged a new playlist.

2020 Playlist
I consider myself to have a wide range of interests when it comes to music. I can listen to any genre and be okay -- I grew up on country (from my dad and brother), plus the 80s (both my parents); I've been listening to foreign music since I started watching anime (age 11); I'm a 90s baby, so Britney and Christina and all pop music are staples; and my boyfriend has opened up my world to some rock and heavy metal, such as Sum-41 and Disturbed.

The Antidote to Chaos: Being Completely Basic. Second Place in 2020 Rewind Playlist Challenge.
I think we all have our hands raised right now. Everyone struggled and was affected in some way by the catastrophic events of 2020. Whether you lost a loved one, your job, or even just your personal space, this year was the Regina George of modern times.

My 2020 Playlist
This year we faced many trials and tribulations. It felt like stepping back in time when racism hit harder then ever following the death of George Floyd. Looting, destruction, police brutality, and protest were at an all time high. The pandemic COVID-19 quarantined the world as death spread hard and fast throughout the world. There really was nowhere to turn but music has a tendency of getting you through some of the toughest of time if artist sing about what matters, sing fun songs, or songs that get us moving. This is the top 20 songs that I enjoyed in 2020.
