'Pretty Woman: The Musical' – A Timeless Story Told Through the Tunes of Bryan Adams
With Broadway's recent tendency of musical adaptation of film and TV, Pretty Woman: The Musical could very easily have ended up as mediocre and forgettable. However, this could not be further from the truth. Whether or not you are familiar with the movie, I ensure you that you would not regret a trip to see this musical.

Your Favorite Musical Is What?
When I heard that SpongeBob the Musical was coming to Broadway, I, like the majority of the world, asked myself one question: "Are we completely out of ideas for Broadway shows?" and I swore to myself that, unless I got a free ticket, I would never go to see it.

Fictional Television Characters Who Changed My Life
10. Kevin McAllister - Home Alone & Home Alone 2: Lost in New York It's a no brainer. At the beginning of first film, Kevin is seen annoyed with his family. He thinks he's better off without them. Imagine his surprise when he wakes up on the morning of the day he and his entire extended family were supposed to be leaving for France only to find that he's *gasp* home alone. Kevin is forced to do things a child his age would never normally have to face, such as but not limited to, outsmarting two burglars named Harry and Marv who are determined to break in to the seemingly empty house. He steps up and protects his house, while facing his fears of the scary neighbor and the furnace in the basement. When his family finally makes their way home, Kevin is delighted by their return, just in time for Christmas. By the next movie, a year later, and Christmastime again, Kevin is back to his ways. Now a little older, he has been around the block. He doesn't want to go to Florida for Christmas, it just isn't right to him. He just wants to stay home with his family. I find it heart warming when Kevin goes out of his way to stop the two criminals a second time after Kevin winds up in New York City by himself, bumping to them again once they've broke out of prison, they tell him their newest plan: they're going to rob the toy store Kevin had visited not long ago, Duncan's Toy Chest. Along the way, Kevin befriends the strange woman in Central Park who had previously scared the bejesus out of him, learning the important life lesson that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

'Unravelled'
Robert Massimi. Unravelled is a play about a mother, younger and older who loves her daughter unconditionally and a daughter who loves her mother as well, that is until she gets sick with both cancer, then dementia that is caused from the chemotherapy. Joy (Kittson O'Neil) and her mom (Suzanna Hay), the older mother are two different people from the beginning. Her mom is a hip, beautiful sexy women, Joy is a geeky nerd, who happens to at least be attractive. She would rather study the stars, the galaxy and the universe, it is her passion. Joy's lifelong ambition is to be an astronaut, unfortunately for her she is claustrophobic. She ends up doing the next best thing for her, she is a professor in the Ph.D program at a University. She teaches The Philosophy of Space and Time. Joy's life is put in turmoil, she is constantly being called home by her mom's nurse (La Donna Binns), and Joy's work is lacking, deeply stirring the ire of the Department chairman. Joy has missed a huge appointment with a Grant Foundation and the Chairman is not happy. We see Joy's conflict, her work is hurting, so is her social life. Joy really hates being home and seeing her mother like this. Her biggest conflict is that she has much guilt about how she now feels about her mother. She remembers her mom as a strong vibrant women who could type 300 words a minute, who was funny, as was this play at times. Joy's mom was the backbone of the family, her father ran off when she was a baby. Even though they lived with the grandmother, what Joy's mom said, went, she was the authority figure. Even though her home life was dysfunctional,(the grandfather ran off as well), they were both really happy to be in each others company. So when Joy sees her sick and not knowing where she is, she becomes both frustrated and upset often leaving her at odds with her mom's nurse. Joy feels that the nurse is not responsive to her mothers wacky behavior with the neighbors or when her mom ripped up there precious garden that they both planted when Joy was eleven years old.

Pulling Rank: Works That Exemplify What a True Spy Hero Is from Smart Slob to Luminary
Every agency from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been tasked with safeguarding the lives and property of Americans. Other internationals like the MI6 in the United Kingdom have been working like really smart pest control agents to knock out the hornets’ nests around the world. Individuals who sign up to fall in to the ranks must pass rigorous mental and physical tests, with emphasis placed on the former. Countless novels, plays, films, and songs have incorporated the functions of government bodies such as these. To understand properly just what an operative may function as, the author of works of fiction must rely on volumes of knowledge supplied by actual agents to get the scenes just right. It is helpful to get into the minds of the characters and depict just what a CIA agent would do once given top secret information about nuclear weapons being developed in Iran, or an National Security Agency (NSA) agent who halts another NSA employee who is planning to spy on the private messages of millions of Americans.

Power Rangers at 25
It's Morphin' Time! Today is the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite 90s TV shows: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It premiered on Fox Kids on August 28, 1993 and ran for three seasons. It's one of the longest-running kids' live-action series in television history. In 2019, Beast Morphers will be the 26th season in the Power Rangers franchise.Almost 900 episodes, three movies, and 25 years later, it's still going strong, thanks to the die-hard fans around the world that are passionate about their fandom. They show that passion by posting Power Rangers related stuff on social media, whether it's cosplay or them at a photo of them at a convention with their favorite stars. With the news earlier this year Hasbro has acquired the rights from Saban Brands to make Power Rangers action figures and other toys starting in April 2019, fans believe that the future is bright.
