'Hidden Figures' Review
Gender, race, and professional barriers are broken in Hidden Figures, a historical drama that tells the story of the women who majorly contributed to the mission of assisting John Glenn’s orbit around the earth, making him the first American astronaut to do so. Directed by Theodore Melfi (St. Vincent) and produced by several including Pharrell Williams, Hidden Figures is an upbeat and inspiring movie that will hopefully be included in the upcoming Academy nominations.

Best Old School Anime
If you’ve been watching both old school anime and recent anime series, you know that a lot has changed in the medium. Compared to the series of the late 20th century, it cannot be denied that the animation quality has improved overall. Kyoto Animation and Shaft became widely popular for their distinct and stylish adaptations of manga and light novels such as Haruhi Suzumiya, Hibike! Euphonium, and the Monogatari Series. It’s definitely difficult to see a series like Ghost in the Shell today, so it’s worth celebrating the best old school anime that have actually stood the test of time.

The Dark Side of The Force: The Misunderstood Side
One aspect that is present in any Star Wars related media is The Force. Whether it is used by the Jedi or the Sith, the force is everywhere in the Star Wars galaxy. Even people who are not able to manipulate it acknowledge its existence. Everyone also knows that there is the light side of the force, and the dark side of the force. The light side is associated with the Jedi, and the dark side with the Sith. Although it is viewed as evil, and even labeled the dark side, it is not inherently evil. It is just misunderstood, and at the mercy of an organization that gives it a bad name.

'Star Wars' Fan Favorite Kindle Comic Books
Comic books are gateways to the broader universe of Star Wars. My favorite aspect of the comic book medium is the way the art can create a whole new visual take on the Star Wars story, or simply reinforce the pictures in your mind from childhood. Star Wars was unique in the world of pop culture franchises. It began first with the movie and then with the comic books. Ironically it has always been a world where the written word had to do justice to the visual, not vice versa, which is more often the case. Perhaps that is why such close attention to detail whether it be the art, the dialogue or the script, is what makes these Star Wars Kindle comics some of the big fan favorites.

Reviewing 'Heaven Can Wait'
Warren Beatty's Heaven Can Wait begins in the same California hills where his Shampoo ended. But where George in Shampoo reached a dead end, Joe Pendleton embarked on a fanciful journey that he hoped would transcend death. The uality of Heaven Can Wait springs from the ease with which Beatty, who co-authored with Elaine May, co-directed with Buck Henry, and produced, transforms his sophisticated stud image into the awkward innocent who sets the film's screwball plot into action. However, while Shampoo's comedy seems to have stood the test of time, Heaven Can Wait's somewhat convoluted plot line of who-died-and-came-back-to-life-as-who? and focus on the 70s with its satire left it less well remembered than its counterpart.
