How to Be Your Body's Friend
I had already gone through eight days of fasting when I saw him. I was sitting in my car and noticed a man heading across the parking lot. He wore a fitted hat, gray hoodie, and baggy pants. I watched curiously as he paused to spit in different places on the street. When he walked next to my car, he started to vomit. It was a violent scene but also very controlled. Once he finished hurling in front of the car, he picked himself up and walked away. An onlooker would have been none the wiser as he disappeared into a nearby McDonald's. I watched in disbelief as he calmly entered the fast food store. Throughout the whole ordeal, he never once seemed to panic or call for help. It was as though this occurrence was just like any other day.

Lull: The Mattress That Turned My Four Hours into Eight. Top Story - August 2019. Created with: Lull.
I know from personal experience that finding the mattress that gives you the perfect night’s sleep can be a foreboding task. As I was searching for a new bed, I was intimidated by the prospect of choosing from hundreds of different mattresses. Each one promised to give me the best shut-eye I’ve ever had and I wasn’t sure what was actually going to make a difference in my sleep. Luckily, I heard about the The Lull Mattress, and ever since my sleep has been completely transformed. I wish I knew months ago that all it would take to overcome my sleepless nights was a new mattress. I hope that my journey to getting a full night of sleep inspires you to do the same.

Nowadays, sitting AND working on a computer is becoming the "normal" posture: hips closed, thighs tight, spine flexed, and what about your lovely shoulders rounded forwards? Or your fingers spread like spider legs on the keyboard.

Most often, it’s manifested in a person’s inability to feel and experience emotions, both psychologically and emotionally. Usually, it’s connected with dissociation, a disconnect from one's memories, body, senses, environment, and a general sense of self.
