A
single frond
reaches outward, catching
the warm sunlight, each slender
green leaflet dancing in the salty sea
breeze. It sways like an emerald feather,
gently by the hands of nature,
bending
softly
to
the
ocean's
rhythm,
delicate
and living
green ribbons
suspended in the
warm morning air, resting
quietly upon the wind, anchored
for now to the strong, sturdy trunk
