Brand Dilution
I had the pleasurable experience of a fortnight's holiday in Lanzarote, the most eastern of the main islands that make up the Canaries, situated just off the coast of Morocco. During my stay, the weather turned from a pleasurable 25ºC down to middling and late teens combined with a lot of rain; Great! Sun beds away, tan lotion back in the bag and hideout in the resort until it all blows over. I cannot stand English resorts so we therefore came to the conclusion that we had only two choices, fly home early or get a hire car of some description so that we can at least take shelter if caught out or to try to chase the sun around the island like a stupid dog and its tail.

The History of Steam-Powered Cars
The history of steam-powered cars goes back not just centuries, but millennia. To trace the path of its invention, we first have to go back to the first use of steam as a mechanism to power motion: the aeolipile. The aeolipile was invented by the Hero of Alexandria in the 1st Century AD. Although it did not channel steam power for any practical purpose at this point, the mounted spherical device used the force of escaping steam to make it spin, demonstrating the principles that would later be used to make steam engines and steam-propelled vehicles—namely, the potential force of directed steam.

Living in a Van
Growing up came fast for me. Living in a household I disagreed with caused me to move out earlier than most teenagers. Although I was already 18, I was naive and thought I was ready for anything. Four moves later, my boyfriend and I were living in a bare, $800/mo, 1 bedroom apartment in a nice part of San Antonio. Big Mistake.

996 Turbo or E92 M3
With a budget of about forty thousand the options you have for a fun, comfortable and practical sports car are pretty good. Unless you’re looking for something more specific. Maybe you want to hear turbos spool every morning or you want an obnoxiously loud V8 with 400+ horsepower. Sure you can settle for an EcoBoost or an '01 Cobra and call it a day but you’re better than that.

10 Best Cars That Don't Depreciate
Normally, I don't like to think of cars in terms of resale value. Doing so, however, is actually a smart way to make your dollar go further. It may seem like a trivial measurement to make, but you'll thank yourself in a few years when you decide you need something new and you get that much more on your trade-in value.

Eight Journeymen NASCAR Drivers Who Deserve a Shot
A journeyman is defined by the dictionary as a "worker or sports player who is reliable but not outstanding." When it comes to NASCAR, that's not entirely true. Any driver that reaches a top level in Motorsports already has proven an exceptional amount of talent, but it mainly boils down to a race team's funding in judging how well a driver can truly perform. These drivers have shown through their consistency. over performance in sub-par equipment, and glimpses of excellence in one off race deals that they deserve a better shot to compete for wins, and even championships at NASCAR's top three levels.

JDM Gear for Guys
Very few cars have a community as tight-knit and competitive as true JDM machines. JDM, which stands for Japanese Domestic Market, is a specialized genre of cars that are really only supposed to be sold in Japan, but occasionally find themselves stateside as well.

I Got to Drive an Audi R8 Spyder!
How could this even happen? I for one didn't think it was possible! The first car I ever owned was a '99 Mazda protégé. It was fun and zippy and I think it just had over 100 hp. I now own a 2010 KIA Forte Koup. Although my relatively newer car is a little faster than my previous car, it only has about 150 hp. The 2018 Audi R8 Spyder has a whopping 600hp! I knew I was in for a hell of an experience!
