"Remove That Hex!" - 2
This is Part 2 of an absurdist, romance novel-spoof horror-sprinkled tale of Elena, a 30-something divorced postal worker living in a high-rise studio apartment in any city in Russia. Once, she bought a talking fish who turned out to be a witch-hexed prince. The only way to remove the hex would be for Elena to fall in love and give him a human baby. Falling in love was the easy part. One day, Elena started to lay fish eggs and put them in the aquarium where her Prince lived in the fish form. She told him to watch them while she was at work, however, the eggs kept disappearing.

Absolved of All Sins!
We went on a day trip to Armenia with my son and friend Katie to explore its apostolic monasteries. Our first stop, Akhtala Monastery, had a monument to Armenian-Georgian friendship in the form of two rings joined by a pomegranate, the national fruit of both countries.

Acropolis and Its New Museum
The other day, my son and I went to the Acropolis and the new Museum at its foothill in Athens, Greece. The Museum opened in 2009 to house the collection of artifacts found at different times on the Acropolis Hill. On its own, the building is a masterpiece in architectural design not only because it has a great flow for following the history and evolution of Greek culture through the centuries as they were buried and found on the Acropolis, but also because it has a full-size replica of the Parthenon on the upper floor.
