In The Vocal Communities
Introduction I was looking at the Vocal Communities and wondered how many I had a presence in. It turns out I have posted in almost every Vocal community which even surprised me (34 out of 40). In this article I am going to go through why this has happened and why it may put certain people off reading my posts.

Splitting Ions In The Ether
This is a randomish review of “Another Green World” by Brian Eno, a fairly wonderful album that I play regularly. It was released on Island Records in November 1975. Produced by Eno and Rhett Davies, it features contributions from a small core of musicians, including Robert Fripp, Phil Collins, Percy Jones, and Rod Melvin. John Cale plays viola on two tracks.

On The Road Of Creation
Introduction The music is the wonderful "Road" by the sadly missed Nick Drake. Eighteen months ago I was tempted into signing up for Vocal and I have been writing on this platform ever since. Prior to that I had been writing on my blog "Seven Days In" for fifteen years and had started about three books which are still only just started and I am not sure whether they will ever be completed.

On The Bus
He was tired, he had left work late and it was grey and drizzling and going dark as he waited for the bus. He checked his phone, it was fully charged, and his team were playing away tonight but he would watch the match on the Sports Channel when he got home.

Talking About Cats (Sometimes They Hunt Me, Sometimes The Run From Me)
Introduction I have written a lot about cats, but really I know nothing about them, and as I don’t keep cats I don’t really need to know that much about them. The two things that put me off are my inherent selfishness and the fact that maintaining the health of your pet is so expensive these days with vet and insurance costs, but it is mainly the former that stops me.

Noise Annoys
Introduction This is just a random piece on how noise can become incredibly intrusive in whatever we are doing. For some, this can cause serious issues in their lives; for others, they manage to cope. I manage to cope with it although when someone is playing loud Happy Techno on a bus that does become a little trying to say the least.

Why I Am Fine With Weaver
Introduction My friend Dharrsheena introduced me to Weaver. It is a word ladder game, Weaver, takes the original format of an age-old puzzle, and brings it into the 21st century. Thought up on Christmas day in 1877 by novelist Lewis Carroll to keep his children, Julia and Ethel Arnold, entertained, he called his game 'word-links'.
