Noise Annoys
Introduction This is just a random piece on how noise can become incredibly intrusive in whatever we are doing. For some, this can cause serious issues in their lives; for others, they manage to cope. I manage to cope with it although when someone is playing loud Happy Techno on a bus that does become a little trying to say the least.

Why I Am Fine With Weaver
Introduction My friend Dharrsheena introduced me to Weaver. It is a word ladder game, Weaver, takes the original format of an age-old puzzle, and brings it into the 21st century. Thought up on Christmas day in 1877 by novelist Lewis Carroll to keep his children, Julia and Ethel Arnold, entertained, he called his game 'word-links'.

A Sea of Words
Introduction I am currently reading “Queen of The Swords” the second of the “Swords of Corum” books that I wrote about in the article below) by Micael Moorcock, and came across one of the obstacles that the protagonists have to overcome, the Lake of Voices. Every drop of water in the lake is a tormented human soul and as they row across the lake the souls cry out in anguish, driving the rowers mad. The spirit of the lake tells them to join the souls in the lake and their anguish will be soothed but they reach the other side and this results in the human souls being freed from the evil spirit of the lake.

Drowning
This is a dark poem for Dharrsheena. It is not how I feel. So here are my words. The music is "drowning" by The Beat. Sometimes things really hit us hard, and lots of things are hitting me at the moment. I can deal with everything but some people cannot deal with things and they can become very lost.

Observations On The Villains of Cobra Kai
Introduction Although I am enjoying Cobra Kai and am halfway through series five, I am hardly an expert on the whole thing, but I love how the series is developing. Its genesis is in the Karate Kid films of the eighties and two of the protagonists in those films (Ralph Macchio - Daniel LaRusso and William Zabka - Johnnie Lawrence) got together to develop “Cobra Kai” for Youtube.

What Stands For Comfort?
This song is about a mother’s protecting nature and her unconditional love, even though her child committed a crime. “In this case, she’s the mother of a murderer”, Kate Bush said in an interview. I love the song but was surprised at the subject.

Thank You Vocal
Introduction This morning I got up and checked the last story that I shared on Vocal. It was very experimental for me and I had intended for it to be a story based on one of my Tarot decks, the Occult Deck, but it actually turned out to be more like a reading rather than a story. A friend asked me if I ever did readings and I said no, I didn't really know what I was doing with them but just love how beautiful some of these decks are. This was the story.
